Fan Bus and Attendance Information for Lady Jacket Basketball 2/21

The Lady Jacket Basketball team beat Aledo last night in the Regional Quarterfinals. The Regional Semi-Finals game is scheduled for Friday, February 21 at 4:00 pm in Snyder, Texas. We are expecting that several of the CHS students and their families will be wanting to attend to support this amazing group of young ladies and show their Jacket Pride.

There will be a STUDENT FAN BUS that departs CHS at 10:30am on Friday. The cost to ride the fan bus is $15/person. Riders will need to bring money for entry into the game ($5) and money for food as well. The sign up sheet and permission slips are available at the front office at CHS. Permission slips and bus money are due by 4 pm tomorrow, Thursday, February 20th. The fan bus will return roughly four hours after the end of the game. The Student Code of Conduct will be applied and enforced during the trip.

Students who are going to the game on their own or with parents, may be checked out through the attendance office by their parents beginning at 10 AM. Once at the game, Mrs. Baadsgaard will have a sign in sheet for students to serve as a record of students who attended the game.

Concerns have been raised as to what effect this excused absence will have towards semester exam exemptions. This excused absence for the students who sign in with me at the game AND were at CHS until 10 am, will not count towards semester exam exemptions.

If we can help in any way, please do not hesitate to email or to call at 817.202.1200.
