Cleburne High School’s 2017 Homecoming Parade is set for 5:45 p.m., Thursday, October 26, featuring a board game theme, as “Cleburne’s Got Game!”
CHS Assistant Principal Michael Williams is serving as parade coordinator and entry forms will be accepted through October 19. The parade entry form may be downloaded from the CISD website, c-isd.com.
A community pep rally will take place at the conclusion of the parade, with the evening ending with the traditional bonfire, conditions permitting. The parade will begin and end at the intersection of Harlin Drive and Colonial Drive as in past years. Some modifications are being made to the entry staging location due to the closing of parking lots and construction at the high school. Any changes or updates to the route will be posted on the CISD website and social media.

The annual Homecoming game will take place Friday, October 27 at Jacket Stadium as Cleburne welcomes the Burleson Elks. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Pre-game festivities are scheduled to begin at 6:50 p.m. The Homecoming Queen candidates will be presented at halftime during which the 2017 honoree will be crowned.
Advance tickets for the Homecoming game may be purchased October 26 and 27 from 9-11:30 a.m. at the CISD Central Offices, 505 N. Ridgeway, Suite 100. Advance prices are $8 for reserved; $7 for general admission and $4 for students. For more information, call 817-202-1250.
