I would like to take a moment to congratulate the Lady Jackets Track & Field team. The coaching staff is proud of the entire team and their performance at the District meet. First Team All District:
*Prom tickets are on sale for $50 at all 3 lunches. If you are planning on bringing a student from another school, please pick up the Non CHS Student Form and turn it in to the Main Office. Remember, you are allowed to bring 1 underclassman as your date. Tickets will be sold for $60 the night of the prom, but you will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.
*Prom King and Queen nominations will be submitted next Monday, April 9th at lunch. Only Seniors are allowed the opportunity to nominate.
*The next Beta Club meeting is APRIL 11!
*If you would like to represent your class during STinG Week, please stop at the Information table by the vending machines in the Commons Area to pick up the application for Battle of the Classes. Applications are due TODAY!
*There are a limited # of STinG Week shirts & VIP All Access Bracelets on sale, so get yours ASAP!
*STinGer Games are coming soon. Pick up your forms at the STing Week Information table to participate in the Dodgeball & Volleyball Tournament and the Homerun Derby.
*Talent Show tryouts are April 10th & 11th after school in room 102.
*This year CHS has adopted Ingleside HS in Houston. Ingleside suffered major damage to their school last summer caused by Hurricane Harvey. This tragedy has forced IHS to relocate their prom to a more expensive venue. CHS has decided to step up and raise money to help pay for their Senior Prom. A prom tree was created and is located in the Main Office. If you or your organization would like to donate money to this very worthy cause, please come by and select a ticket from the tree. The tickets are in amounts of $10, $40 and $100. Thank you for giving to others and helping Ingleside HS!!
*COME BE A PART OF THE STUNT CREW!!
Stunt crew is going to be a new addition of strong students who will join our cheerleaders on the field on Friday nights during football games. They will be expected to travel with us to games, partner stunt with cheerleaders, and be taught how to tumble. We will be having a clinic to teach you all the skills you will need. Come join us on Saturday, April 14, 12-2 in the Main Gym. Pizza will be provided. Make sure to wear comfortable workout clothes. Please see Coach Hardin or Coach Mears if you have questions
